Crazy variety of tacos here both from toppings to the taco shells themselves. We tried a variety but the birria and puffy beef were some of my faves. I'll admit, I'm not usually a corn tortilla fan but the tacos with the blue corn tortilla were also delicious. The elote was definitely a crowd favorite and the Mexican fried rice was good but heavy - it could've been a meal all on its own really. They have ordering kiosks and then you pick up your food at the counter so minimal service interaction but overall positive experience.

There are several Taco Rocks. Very much recommend. Price for tacos is great for quality and quantity. Elote corn best. Mixed drinks very clever and great.

Food is amazing I tried the birra tacos, Birra Ramen and the Cuban sandwich the birra was well Season very flavorful and the pull pork on the sandwich was tender and juicy would def come back

Great food on a first time visit. I got 3 different classic tacos and they were ALL good. Nice presentation and great flavors all around! So difficult to pick a favorite taco today. I went with the Barbacoa, the Carne Asada and the El Gringo tacos. I would suggest getting this just to taste something different. I was warmly greeted by the bartender and she placed my order from the bar while I watched the TVs on the wall and tried to memorize the menu. Music was great and not too loud. Next time I will take a moment to sit and enjoy the vibe of this place.

Upon my first visit to Taco Rock, home of the Blue Corn Tortilla, I was immediately struck by the fast-paced and busy yet inviting atmosphere. The music, seating area, and bar with TVs created a nice vibe that added to the overall experience. This place offers a wide variety of Traditional Mexican street tacos and classic Tex Mex street food. During my visit, I had the opportunity to sample a range of dishes including land and sea, macha shrimp, carne asada, shake down shrimp, rockfish, rice, and beans. Each dish was not only delicious but also came in generous portion sizes. I was impressed by the daily specials offered at the restaurant. One of the highlights of my visit was the drinks, which were expertly crafted and quite strong. The bartenders were amazing and contributed to the lively atmosphere of the place. I appreciated the unique system in which you go to a machine to purchase your own tacos and receive a buzzer to pick them up. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Taco Rock and will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Mexican street food and great drinks.

Weird rock'n'roll-themed taco place with more bar vibes than restaurant vibes and a massive 4-screen wall showing non-stop (mostly 90s) music videos. Came here after seeing a family theater show at the Kennedy center. It was a bit of a weird pick for 5 adults and 4 kids under the age of 10, but it mostly worked. The tacos were good, small and simple in a classic street-tacos way. I had the blackened salmon, grouper and ahi tuna. The salmon was better than the other two and none of them really knocked my socks off. We had two people with significant allergies and it was somewhat hard to make that happen. You do all your ordering through an iPad app and finding somebody to talk to wasn't as easy as I'd wish. After talking about seafood and peanut allergies, we basically landed on chicken tortilla soup and nachos being the only things that worked. The nachos were enormous and (in line with the rest of the food) did a good job of being yummy, but more bar food than anything else.

I'm a big fan of Taco Rock - this is the perfect lunch spot whenever I have coworkers in town and we want to go somewhere slightly nicer than the other fast causal spots in Rosslyn. I've enjoyed all the tacos I've tried here. And even if the tacos aren't great, you can douse them in one of their delicious sauces anyway!!! The churros are also excellent and surprisingly fresh, with the perfect amount of crispiness. It can get a bit crowded during lunch time on weekdays but I've never had an issue finding a table. Highly recommend Taco Rock if you're in the Rosslyn area.

Ambiance: (5/5) Really liked all the seating. There is bar style, high tables, and outdoor starting. Price: (4/5) Prices are averaged for the area. Food: (4/5) The shrimp tacos were really good. The sauces they have on the side are a must with the tacos. You need at least 3 tacos to be full. I would have preferred to eat the nachos while dining in as they got soggy by the time I had a chance to eat them. Service: (4/5) Food comes out at a decent pace.
